123rd Founders' Day
Venue: Sir Kirby
Laing Auditorium
Chief Guest: Bishop
Stanley Downes (Retd.)
Founders’ Day is a very
important day in the school
calendar .We gather to focus
on and celebrate the vision
of great men and women that
materialized in 1888 and
continues to be nurtured and
strengthened by the tireless
efforts of those who took on
the mantle from them.
The day was abuzz with
excitement because after a
wait of almost a year and a
half the portals of Sir
Kirby Laing Auditorium would
once again open to echo a
congregation singing and
worshipping.
The Divine Service began
with the unveiling of the
new plaque of the Sir Kirby
Laing auditorium by Bishop
Stanley Downes and the
dedication of the auditorium
by Rev. G. Cornelius.
