Swimming Gala 2009

The gala is NOT a competitive event although in the excitement positions are heaped upon the participants. It is a show hosted on Founders’ Day every year designed to entertain the audience and guests.

There are a variety of events- medley relays, freestyle events, rescue tube relays, a spoon and ball relay, an underwater swim, butterfly events, a rescue tube and umbrella relay, a pajama relay and a water polo match. There is also a special event for students, staff and ex-students if they are game. There are around 50 swimmers who take part, both girls and boys from classes 5-12.
