While for some students the Cross Country season is a time for "playing truant" from as many practices as they can, for others it is a challenging season during which they strive to improve and build their stamina, consistency, determination and most of all sportsmanship.

The runners had about one week to prepare for the Inter-House Cross Country and each day they could be seen practising hard to build stamina. One of the favourite ways of doing so was to sweat it out on the flat and the familiar challenging slope near the main office.

The Inter-House Cross Country was held on Tuesday, 10 September 2013 and the whole school participated in it. The results were as follows:
