JOKES

Teacher :Neha, why are you always late to class ?

Neha: Madam, they ring the bell before I come.

Shubham, Class 2A

There was a teacher and a student. The teacher asked  the boy, " Didn't you promise that you would behave yourself ?" "Yes Sir !" said the boy. The teacher said "And didn't i promise to punish you if you misbehaved ?" The child said, " Since I have broken my promise, you don't have to keep yours."

Abhinav Bairathi, Class 5A

POETRY

Nature

Mountains are high and are very tall,

Valleys are below and are very small,

Flowers are grown there and all beautiful things

I've seen fairies roaming around with little silver wings.

Malvika Chauhan, Class 5A

DID YOU KNOW ?

Which bird can turn its head in a circle ?

Owl, a bird of prey which comes out at night is the only creature which can turn its head in a circle.

Why do monkeys comb each others fur ?

Monkeys are actually looking for tiny bits of slat from perspiration on their skin. When they find this they eat it.

Avtansh Gupta, Class 4B

A Word About Life

Life is a mystery,

You don't know what comes up next,

There maybe danger, adventure or zest.

Make the most of the time you have,

Because once this time goes it will never come back.

Let yourself soar in the air,

And get yourself some fame and be a person very rare.

Live up to your dreams and expectations,

Fulfill them with complete dedication.

Don't live in the fear of tomorrow,

Because you don't know if it will give you happiness or sorrow.

Live every moment of today,

Make it bright, happy, cheerful and gay.

Ashni Rastogi, 9A

Fight Your Fears

Sometimes we are faced with the worst of our fears,

The things we were afraid to befriend,

Which can demolish us completely, which we were never admitted,

But when we comprehend this, we know we can no longer pretend.

We wonder then why life is so prejudiced,

We pray that things were not so resilient,

We hope to condone these specters,

When they are actually the ones that are foremost  on our minds' bent.

They persecute and petrify us,

Making sure that we don't retreat from them,

And thus we let them torment us so,

In their hands we become like puppets - lame.

We find that we are lost in the farrago,

Of so much turmoil.

Everything seems harrowing,

Everyone appears to be in depressing coils.

So people, don't try to overlook you're your trepidations,

Or forever then, you will be called a zero,

But, instead, face these obstacles and conquer them with velour,

To be perceived by all as a hero.

Ankita Rana, 9B
