This year the
P.E.
Department of the school
came up with the novel idea
of celebrating a hundred and
twenty years of service
devoted to the youth with a
coming together of the young
in the form of field
exercises.
Almost four
hundred students from7-12
were involved in these
exercises that they had been
practising for over a month.
The first
routine involved the boys of
Senior School performing
calisthenics. Over 240 boys
exercised to music to form a
rectangle, a triangle and a
square.
Silver pompoms
that shone in the brilliant
sunshine spread across the
field when the girls of the
Senior School began their
routine. Almost a symphony
in movement, the routine
included rows shifting ever
so gracefully to form a
square and concentric
circles.
