The school organizes outdoor activities , hikes and excursions for the students on a regular basis. Also , the school's sprawling acres boast of many picturesque spots which the students visit frequently .Since the Uttarakhand Himalayas are synonymous with many things such as gushing rivers, majestic snow clad peaks, enchanting lakes and a rich plethora of flora and fauna, the children are familiarized with concepts of preservation and conservation through day treks, overnight outings to these places of interest. Over the years, visits to places of national interest , like the I.M.A, O.N.G.C, the Forest Research Institute of India, as well as the Lal Bahadur National Academy of Administration have been made a compulsory part of the curriculum for students enrolled in years 11& 12.
