Hindi is taught in all classes at Wynberg-Allen - the aim being to condition the children into becoming young men and women who take pride in their culture and heritage . This is done not only through classroom teaching but also through activities like drama, elocution , debates and other aural and oral interactions at all levels.

1. To appreciate the language as an effective means of communication.
2. To acquire knowledge of the elements of the knowledge.
3. To develop an interest in the language.
4. To understand the basic structural patterns of the language, vocabulary and constructions.
